Show moreWe present a case of a 30-year-old man who developed exertional heatstroke which was complicated by liver failure. He was transferred to our centre for a possible liver transplantation but unfortunately succumbed to multiorgan failure. In a review of literature we discuss the diagnosis and treatment of heatstroke, the possible underlying pathophysiology and overlap with malignant hyperthermia. Show less
