Measuring pharmacodynamics in early clinical drug studies in multiple sclerosis
This thesis describes six clinical studies: two studies that investigate new compounds to treat symptoms of multiple sclerosis (MS) (chapters 2 and 3), one study that investigates a new compound to treat MS (chapter 4) and three studies about the development of new methods to determine effects of a new class of compounds to treat MS (chapters 5, 6 and 7).
