Diagnosis and treatment of prolactinomas: the patient's perspective anno 2025
suggests the consequences are more impactful and treatment is less optimal than
previously thought. The aim of this thesis was to present novel insights into outcome
evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment of prolactinomas. By using patient-reported
outcomes alongside the traditional biochemical, radiologic, and clinician-reported
outcomes, this thesis aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the patients’ disease
burden and identify areas of care that require improvement.
