Sclerostin : a key regulator of bone metabolism

Doctoral Thesis
In this thesis we studie the role of sclerostin in bone metabolism. We studied patients with the rare bone sclerosing disorders sclerosteosis and van Buchem disease, both caused by sclerostin deficiency. We further studied the role of sclerostin in different bone related disorders.
