Abstract

In this judgment, the administrative court explains the relation between the Dutch Freedom of Information Act and Article 10 ECHR. The court held that in exceptional circumstances, journalists may require access to government-held information under Article 10 ECHR, even when the Freedom of Information Act does not give this right. The author approves the decision, but he identifies some difficulties.
