Translational studies on immunologic biomarkers and precision therapy in ovarian and breast cancer
Abstract
This thesis focusses on translational studies in patients with both EOC and BC and consists of two main parts. In part 1, immunological markers in both EOC and BC were studied, with the ultimate goal to find markers which can serve as predictors for therapy response in the future. The second part focusses on CDK4/6i in (early) BC, which aim to prevent tumor cell proliferation by inhibiting CDK4/6, thereby blocking cell cycle progression.
