Maskless photolithography for rapid Organ-on-a-Chip prototyping and microvascular engineering

This thesis describes facile maskless photolithography-based methods to rapidly prototype Organ-on-a-Chip devices in a cleanroom-free fashion, engineer microvasculature on-chip and the development of substrates suitable for reference-free traction force microscopy. Moreover, the generation and characterization of patient-derived human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) and subsequently derived endothelial cells is described.
