Abstract

In 2024, a consortium of universities and the Ministry of Education decided to establish a Vakdidactisch Meesterschapsteam Levensbeschouwing en Religie (VDMT L&R) to strengthen education and research in subject-specific didactics for religious education in Dutch secondary education. This concise article introduces the VDMT L&R’s background, aims, and plans.
