In eight chapters, the thesis of Rafaël Vos covers the effect of temperature and pressure on the electrochemical CO2 reduction. The first chapter introduces the field of electrochemistry and CO2RR specifically. The following chapters show the effect of pressure at ambient pressure at various catalysts, namely gold, copper, silver, copper-silver alloy and nickel. Chapter 6 shows the development of a high-temperature high-pressure electrochemical cell, which is used in the last chapters to study the effect of temperature at elevated pressures.
