Abstract

This paper examines the National Security Strategy (NSS) of US President Joseph R. Biden to analyze how the president frames his vision of imperial righteousness and sets the agenda for US foreign policy. Biden identifies the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and Russia as primary adversaries. He also emphasizes the need to cooperate on transnational issues and the need to combat both international and domestic terrorism.
