Highlights from the NINO Collections: The Netherlands Institute for the Near East presents selected objects from its collections and archives

Abstract

This booklet aims to give a brief introduction to NINO’s rich and diverse collections and archives, and to show their value and potential. They do not only document the history of the Netherlands Institute for the Near East and the many persons involved in various ways, but also capture the formative period of the academic fields of ancient Near Eastern archaeology, Egyptology and Assyriology in the Netherlands in word and image.
