Deformation imaging and three-dimensional echocardiography : implications on clinical management of patients with ischemic heart disease
Abstract
Evaluation of patients with ischemic heart disease using echocardiography is indispensable. Both in the acute setting of STEMI, at follow-up and in the chronic phase during the possible development of heart failure, routine echocardiographic assessment is an essential part of daily clinical practice.
