Exploring the mechanisms of metastatic onset for novel treatment strategies

Abstract

This thesis represents a comprehensive investigation into the control of cancer stemness and metastatic initiation using a combination of advanced zebrafish xenograft models and in vitro assays. The discoveries made and the evaluation of drug efficacy provide valuable insights for the development of novel therapeutic approaches in the fight against metastatic cancer.
